This position is expected to deliver specialist technical support, assurance and training of personnel for all online field analysers and gas detectors. He/she will be expected to work across the field of Analysers for operations. The analyser specialist is expected to have knowledge and experience on all field analysers, gas detectors, analyser sample systems, analyser signal distribution, safety systems, analyser shelter safety systems, area zone classifications, equipment certification, and industrial specifications, standards and practices. The analyser specialist will ensure safe, reliable operation and remove or mitigate risk within their area of responsibility.
Job Duties:
Report to the Discipline Engineers Team Lead and work under his overall supervision and directions
Maintenance on all analysers, gas detectors and analyser sample systems
Training of personnel in all aspects of the analyser field
Quality control on all analysers and analyser systems
Develop, review and approve maintenance strategies and operating procedures during the maintenance build
Assure all analysers and systems up to standard and development of efficient maintenance system
Review relevant spares stocking, and quantities
Review and manage analyser service and calibration gasses
Participate in contract scopes for analyser equipment and maintenance contacts
Analyser design and design review on new projects and installations
Quality control on new installations
Proper take over of analyser equipment from installation contractors
Developing analyser system reliability plans.
Approve and monitor Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Program
Recommend improvements to enhance equipment performance
Investigating incidents, identifying root cause and preventing reoccurrence.
Contributing to Technical Practices development and compliance.
Participating in engineering design reviews, safety reviews etc.
Demonstrating leadership and compliance with HSSE expectations
Participating in the appropriate Networks and Communities of Practice for the discipline.
Accountable for delivery of technical decisions and solutions

Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum 15 years’ experience in the petrochemical industry analyser maintenance field Gas Chromatography
Language skills:
Advanced knowledge of Azeri and English
Knowledge of Russian is preferable
Technical skills:
Working with multi-meters
Usage and working with tools - spanners, screwdrivers, torx spanners, wrenches etc.
Correct usage of tools
